FROM SUSTAINABILITY TO SUSTAINABILITY

Prodeman shared its experience towards a sustainable model at an event organized by the UIC.

Prodeman participated in the event "Path to the Sustainability of Cordoban Industries," organized by the Unión Industrial de Córdoba (UIC), where initiatives and experiences in sustainability were presented. Representing the company, Melina Cristofolini, Head of Public Affairs, discussed the transformation towards a comprehensive sustainability approach, highlighting how this change allows for a broader response to social, environmental, and economic challenges.

During her presentation, details were shared about the OC Bio plant, a prominent example of circular economy. This business unit of the peanut company converts peanut shells into renewable energy, utilizing a key waste product from the production process. Additionally, the byproduct resulting from this transformation is used for the manufacture of ecological bricks, thus closing the production cycle with a positive impact on the environment.

Participation in this event reinforces Prodeman's commitment to sustainability and values the exchange spaces promoted by the UIC, which are essential for advancing towards a more responsible future for Cordoban industries.
