PRODEMAN, GOLD AWARD IN AGRICULTURAL EXCELLENCE 2025

The Córdoba-based company was recognized as the Best Agro-Food Industry in the country and received the highest award of the night at the LA NACION–Galicia Awards.

Prodeman was one of the major highlights of the XXIII edition of the LA NACION–Galicia Award for Agricultural Excellence. The family-owned company, based in General Cabrera, Córdoba, was distinguished as the Best Agro-Food Industry and, at the end of the ceremony, received the Gold Award 2025, the highest recognition of the night.

The event took place at the offices of the newspaper LA NACION, in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, under the slogan "From local value to global impact in a challenging future." More than 270 companies applied to participate in an edition that recognized leaders in Argentine agriculture in eight categories for their innovation, leadership, and contribution to productive development.

The recognition of Prodeman highlighted an agro-industrial model built over more than 40 years from the interior of Córdoba. With peanuts as its origin, the company developed an integrated chain that includes primary production, processing, value addition, and export, while continuing to incorporate technology, new projects, and diversification alternatives.

Guillermo Cavigliasso, a member of Prodeman's Board of Directors, received the awards on behalf of the company and emphasized the collective nature of the achievement.

"This award is for the entire Prodeman team, for the effort and commitment every day, adding value to sustainable and quality production. These recognitions motivate us to continue working, investing, and betting on Argentina," he expressed.

During the Gold award presentation, Cavigliasso also highlighted the legacy of Oscar Cavigliasso, founder and president of Prodeman, and a principle that has accompanied the company's growth since its beginnings: "What I have today, tomorrow is old." A perspective that summarizes the ongoing quest to innovate, invest, and project new challenges without losing the roots that gave rise to the company.

In recent days, Prodeman also received the APSAL Award in the Sustainability category, a recognition that distinguishes initiatives related to food, health, and sustainable development.

The distinction highlighted the work the company has been developing to integrate sustainability into its production model. Among its main initiatives are measuring the carbon footprint throughout its value chain, incorporating principles of regenerative agriculture, and developing actions aimed at continuous improvement of its environmental performance.

These recognitions are complemented by Prodeman's nomination for the Córdoba in the World Awards, promoted by the Córdoba Foreign Trade Chamber and the ProCórdoba Agency, which recognize the international projection of companies from the province.

The awards received reflect a common journey: that of a company born in General Cabrera that continues to add value from the origin and projecting Córdoba's agro-industry to the world.
