CARBON FOOTPRINT AND NEW CHALLENGES

Prodeman welcomed representatives from Plataforma Puma to analyze the results of emissions measurement and advance towards a joint sustainability strategy.

As part of Prodeman's commitment to sustainable production, the company hosted representatives from Plataforma Puma to share the results obtained in measuring the carbon footprint of its agro-industrial activities.

During the meeting, which brought together members of the Board and teams from Environment, Quality and Safety, Primary Production, Foreign Trade, Costs, and Communication, new strategies for environmental improvement were discussed, and the alliance with Puma, a leading climate startup in Latin America, was strengthened.

This year, the collaboration included, for the first time, the incorporation of dashboards and indicators to monitor the carbon footprint in industrial processes, expanding the initial focus that was centered on agricultural activity.

Additionally, the Prodeman team is progressing in the preparation of its first sustainability report, a key tool to systematize advancements, identify improvement opportunities, and transparently communicate its environmental performance.

"This process allows us to have a more comprehensive view of our operation. It is no longer just about measuring, but about acting. Each area has something to contribute to reduce impact and move towards increasingly responsible production," expressed Paula Alaniz, recently appointed as the head of the Environment area at Prodeman.

From Plataforma Puma, Paula María Ascenzi, Sebastián Galbusera, and Hernán Miguel Galfré participated, sharing advancements and projections on the use of technology applied to sustainability.
