THE BIOBRICKS ARRIVE AT THE GARDENS
Prodeman shared with children from General Cabrera their circular economy project based on the reuse of peanut shell ashes.
This week, Prodeman promoted a series of educational activities to spread awareness in the community about their biobricks project, a unique initiative in the industry that converts peanut shell ashes into eco-friendly bricks for social purposes.
The OC Biobricks Plant welcomed students from the Fray Pío Bentivoglio kindergarten, who toured the facilities and learned firsthand how this process works within the circular economy model. Additionally, a visit was made to the garden of the Emilio F. Olmos School, where bricks were delivered and a talk was given on sustainable production and waste reuse.
"We believe that raising awareness from childhood is key to building a community committed to the environment and sustainable development," expressed Melina Cristofolini, Public Affairs Manager at Prodeman.
Through this project, the company transforms the last residues of its production chain — the ashes generated from producing energy from peanut shells — into a new useful resource for society. A concrete example of how innovation can go hand in hand with positive impact.
