Prodeman operates with a sustainable and responsible approach to the environment. In 2017, the company began running its own Thermal Power Plant powered by peanut shell biomass. To operate daily, 240 tons of peanut shells are fed into a boiler, where they are burned to generate steam. This steam drives a turbine that powers a generator, producing electricity that is fed into the National Interconnected Energy System.
